Jakkelsroep Accommodasie is situated in the heart of the bushveld on a farm,

40 km from Pretoria. The farm is also 7 km from the Tsukulu Gate of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, home to the Big 5, and spans approximately 23,000 hectares of pristine nature.

 

Attractions in the area include guided game drives, hiking trails, boat cruises, and a variety of restaurants. It is also 9 minutes from the Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary, which offers game drives and interactive experiences with animals.

as we are spoilt with plenty of birdlife.  The key elements for a great family holiday are excellent weather and clean, comfortable accommodation to suit your budget.  Jakkelsroep has a 28ha camp with wildlife like zebra, nyala, impalas, ostriches and blesbok, so you can easily walk and admire nature.​

Jakkelsroep is the perfect destination for a family bush holiday as we accept children of all ages, apart from the usual facilities for kids, such as the jungle gym and swimming pool, kids can have an up close and personal bush experience.

 

Because there are no dangerous animals, it is perfectly safe for you to explore the farm on foot with your children, discover new bugs or track a Zebra or Najla down the gravel road.
